Are you a classic car collector? A car released in 2009 is in no way classic, but it can be one in the coming years. Right now we would like to review a nice car, the 2009 Dodge Journey. That was pretty old, but it is still worth buying. You can add it to your collection. You may know already that the company was allegedly unprepared enough for the market shifts.
2009 Dodge Journey changes
There will be changes in the automotive industry and it has become mandatory for every company to respond to the shifts and the changing needs of people. This offering suggested many that the company did have a clue of what they should do. The Journey was introduced and it was cited as a shiny new crossover. The market had been crowded by similar cars at that time.
2009 Dodge Journey exterior
It stepped into the game bringing a good deal of ammo. The company took aim at a more unique Crossover. They wanted to make one not only with a unique appearance, but also unique qualities. The car was a return to form, sort of like a transition. It was looking good. There were some interesting sections on the outside, like the square-jawed mugs and tapered greenhouse. The car was tall and stretched rearward. With all those changes, it was not hard for the new offering to cause a splash in the Crossover segment that was already crowded by other flagships.
2009 Dodge Journey features
The features were pretty impressive. The theater-style seating was so comfy. And if that was not convincing enough for you to check out the car, there is a long list of features, such as emergency-size split third-row seat and a window line low. The later allowed passengers mainly those sitting in the backseats to see out. There was a rear-seat entertainment. The interior was just flawless. It featured a lot of entertainment devices, not the mention that the seats felt awesome, too. The car was released not so long ago, so all these nifty and futuristic bits were understandable.
2009 Dodge Journey performance
There were many more to be found on its exterior, like Bluetooth connectivity, LED interior lighting, MYGIG infotainment system. The arrangement of controls and other features was pretty good, but there was a little problem with the radio faceplate. It was mounted too low, so it was quite troublesome accessing it. It would basically need the driver to shift the focus away from the road. That was obviously dangerous. Speaking of performance, a 2.4-liter is probably way too small to your liking, but you have to deal. It delivered 173-hp.
