The 2015 Mini Cooper S looks outlandish. We do not know how to describe that. It looks unique, but can be perceived as a fashion victim by those who are not really into art. We personally think that the car is great. It is more of a trendsetter than a fashion victim. If you can not wait any longer, the new generation of the series just was launched this year. The new car is a perfect embodiment of a modern design. While some may disagree, to us, this is the closest of what a modern hatch is supposed to look like. Stretching for about 151 inches from the front to the rear end, the car lives up to its name. It works the "mini" out of its name.

If you want to have a very compact car, then this one should be considered. It is comparable to the Ford Fiesta, Honda Fit, and some other flagships from different companies. The retro-inspired design was done on purpose. Of course, there are still people who adore classic designs so much. The car looks nice viewed from the outside. It still maintains a similar proportion to other MINI Coopers. The most striking difference is the nose edges that have become longer with every release. Speaking of functionality, it may be less quirky now, but it's still a busy car. The interior features a cleaner design.
The controls are well arranged and feel less cluttered. Yes, the car still looks kind of busy with all those bulges and bezels. If you have never been a fan of classic designs that tend to look intricate, witnessing the interior of this car may be a difficult experience. But still, props for the company for simplifying the interior. The speedometer is relocated, the central stack has a new look, mounted close to the display screen. The controls are quite complete, such as climate controls, toggle-switches, and many more.

Do not be fooled by the interior trims. When it comes to functionality, those controls are pretty intuitive. There is a ring that wraps around the central display. It comes with changing lights to suit different driving modes. Though it looks stylish, the "gimmicky" vibe feels so thick, but it does not mean that the part should be taken down. Performance-wise, the car is not that bad, but you will straight to think that 134-horsepower is nothing special. The power is generated by a 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine. Well, this is not the car you should check out for blistering performance. It is more of a show than go, so it is expected. That's all about 2015 Mini Cooper S.
